Gold Ranger - Mighty Morphin'

Another big update 5/22/19: New Dinozord and new helmet design.  I'm now based on the Carnotaurus, and pilot the Carnozord!!  I know I had the previous idea for years, but I've lately found myself wishing I knew about more vicious dinosaurs back when I'd first though this Ranger up.  This also means whatever requests I had made of the previous design will now be obsolete, good thing there's only a few of them around.

Major update 3/30/18: Gave it a full makeover, was starting to look cheaply made, so I revamped it.  Plus, I just had to make it in the size of the Sentai book scans, and when I tried copying it exactly, it looked weird.  So, I pretty much redid the design itself, though the idea is still the same.  And now, we got a shield too.

I'm back again! And, here's my new Power Ranger (well, newly uploaded). The Mighty Morphin' Gold Ranger.

As I said with my Green and White Rangers, the character lineup is a little twisted around. It's like this:

I start as green ( andruril93.deviantart.com/art/… ), then I lose my powers like Tommy. Then, Zordon chooses my friend, Vinny, to be the white ranger ( andruril93.deviantart.com/art/… ). Then, at some point, using the Sword of Light (this happens in the place of the red, black, yellow power transfer), Zordon and Alpha finalize the new power they've been making in secret (doing it over time instead of shutting down the Command Center), and I re-join the team as the seventh ranger, the Gold Ranger.

My 1st zord is the Carnotaurus, and it can transform into a fighter form (like the TigerZord can). It can also combine with Vinny's TigerZord, to create a second Megazord.  I imagine a little fiction BTS where Saban either ordered "Zyu3 footage" of a new dinosaur from Toei (instead of those Zyu3 dinozords that never got made), or where they repainted and remolded the prop or toy version of the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord (notably gold with horns on the head).
My NinjaZord is the Lion, and with the help of Ashley (my Pink Ranger) and Ninjor, using a partial duplicate of the Crane NinjaZord and some of Ninjor's armor, it can form it's own Megazord.
(A little behind the scenes here, I got the idea for this change after watching Liveman. I thought, maybe if this was in the show, they could splice footage of the Megazords with footage of Land Lion and LiveRobo, like what they did in Season 2.  Maybe Saban tried to ask for footage of a new animal zord/mecha, and Toei offered the Lion they had in a previous Sentai season).

My weapon is called the "Power Staff!" (long like a karate bo, NOT like the Zeo "Golden power staff"). It can be combined with Saba to form a super-slashing Naginata-like weapon.  I imagine this being a golden version of one of the Dairangers' Dairen Rods.

Update 8/12/13: PRprince said that it looked too much like the Yellow Ranger, so I decided to make it look more distinguishable. I made the morpher look better, pointed the arms down, removed the blade blaster, and put my custom Stegosaurus symbol on the chest, so it ties in with the White Ranger's design as the sixth ranger a little.

Yet another update 1/21/13: PRprince suggested that I make the background color able to contrast the suit's gold color.  I experimented for a bit, and then I asked my brother (he's a professional artist) if what I had looked better, and he agreed.  So, I hope this version can impress better now.
